Emergency Care

Pets do not follow a 9 to 5 schedule. This is why we are happy to offer after hours urgent care services for our patients. If your pet needs emergency care, please call 647-695-5411 to reach our on-call veterinary service. Please call ahead of time before coming to our clinic, as we share our on-call services with Thunder Bay Veterinary Hospital. Please Note: If your emergency occurs when the Thunder Bay team is on call, you will be asked to bring your pet to their hospital. They are located at 920 Carrick Street. Either way, please call us first.

When are your ER services available?

We have dedicated veterinarians and veterinary technicians on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as part of our urgent care unit. Rest assured they are experienced in treating all types of medical emergencies.

Is there an emergency fee?

Our ER services are meant to be used for urgent cases only for our current patients. However, we may offer ER care for non-urgent cases when our clients want their pet to be seen as soon as possible. In these cases, an additional service fee may be charged. Please call us for our current rates.
